About us

Founded in 2006, Sunni Courses is a grass roots project which aims to deliver quality short-term and intensive Islamic courses. This initiative seeks to educate and empower Muslims through learning and keeping the company of the People of Knowledge and Wisdom. We endeavour to revive the traditional methods of learning under the guidance of scholars who have inherited Islamic knowledge through the classical system, i.e. the Isnad (Chain of Transmission) and in full accordance with the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Sunni Courses is run entirely by volunteers on a course-by-course-budget. We are a non-partisan project and are not affiliated with any governments.
